Collaborating on a Form

Modified on Wed, 19 Jun, 2024 at 8:55 AM

Microsoft Forms allows you to collaborate on the designing/editing as well as sharing live responses with other users.

1. Click the ‘…’ in the top right corner then click ‘Collaborate or Duplicate’

2. Under Add collaborators, choose the appropriate permission level.

Please note that the ‘Anyone with an Office 365…’ will include people outside of solsch.org.uk

3. Then simply copy the URL and share it.

When sharing the link to collaborators, the URL should include:

‘/DesignPage’ and NOT ‘/ResponsePage’

Response Page                 Sends the Form to be filled out

Design Page                     Sends the Editor / View Response link

Please note: Anyone who is a collaborator will also be able to view the form’s results.

 What does duplicate mean?

Duplicating a form will create a template based on the current form which you can then rename, edit, and save as a separate form. This is ideal for if you want to send the same form to multiple groups but keep each group’s result separate.

You can also share templates with other users.
